The Role
Our Addison, TX team is seeking an Operations Audit Specialist to join the Supplemental & Group segment. Working within our hybrid model from this office, you’ll be onsite every Tuesday alongside the rest of the team and working from home most other days, focusing on audits surrounding the Claims, Policy Owner Services (POS), New Business, and Customer Care portions of the corporation. The goal of this position centered around working collaboratively with these departments to ensure that you’re processing the data effectively and presenting your findings in a meaningful way. As an Operations Audit Specialist, you’ll be utilizing any industry experience you have with Perceptive and LifePro software to ensure that all reports are accurate, all internal records are meticulously up to date in the Nolan Audit Database, and your daily functions comply with regulations and standards throughout your performance of these processes.
Day-to-Day
- Operating within a more floating model, work in this position will work alongside POS, Customer Care, Underwriting, and Claims departments.
- Perform detailed review of pre-determined audit samples, pulling from our internal systems, then compiling spreadsheets to input the data into Nolan.
- Train on different team members’ programs and processes to serve as cross-functioning coverage throughout the Quality Audit department.
- Generate reports for and analyze the information from the Nolan Audit Database to be shared with the Quality Audit Manager.
- Finetune processes performed within the role to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness within the position.
- Pull daily reports from Perceptive of claims, New Business, and Waiver of Premiums that were processed and linked the previous day.
- Prepare and present reports based on customer feedback for management to identify issues and areas of performance improvement.
Role Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent for education.
- Task-oriented with the ability to hone in on prioritizing within the department of focus.
- A minimum experience of up to 10 years, with newer graduates encouraged to apply!
- Working knowledge of audit processes and techniques to be able to identify department needs and make informed recommendations.
- Practical understanding of New Business, Policy Owner Services (P.O.S.), Claims, Customer Service, and other areas of focus for auditing purposes.
- Ability to prioritize division of focus alongside fellow team members, while anticipating different division’s needs.
- Functioning knowledge of auditing concepts and the necessary applications with programs ranging from Microsoft Office, LifePro, Perceptive, and Nolan Auditing Database.
- A problem solver and analytical thinker with a focus on work being thorough and accurate.
