As an Administrative Assistant at Horizon, you will…
- Welcome all patients with exemplary customer service
- Provide direct support with patient scheduling, billing, and triaging conflict
- Prepare charts and record request for clinical staff using EMR system
- Manage all incoming and outgoing phone calls, mail, and faxes
- Maintain a neat and clean environment for the clinic

- High school diploma with 2 years of experience within the customer service or behavioral health field.

Location
This post is specifically for our outpatient clinic located at 2563 Union Road, Cheektowaga NY.
Hours
This is a full-time position. Who doesn’t love a Monday through Friday schedule? You’ll coordinate a personalized schedule with your supervisor. Our outpatient clinics offer expanded hours Monday – Thursday so we’ll ask you to be available evenings as well, but don’t worry about jeopardizing your weekend plans… all outpatient locations close earlier on Fridays and are closed on weekends!
Compensation
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $17.55 - $18.55. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. This position includes a bonus earning opportunity, with an annual max potential of $1,100.00, based on cash equivalent opt out benefits. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
Physical demands associated with this position include:
- Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting
- Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
- Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
