Videographer

We are currently hiring a Videographer based at our Global Headquarters in Champaign, IL!

From pre-production to post-production, this position will be responsible for operating video cameras on location and in the studio, as well as computer editing of video for product releases and special projects. Candidates must be self-motivated, creative thinkers as well as demonstrate excellent time management and problem-solving skills.  

This position is full-time.

Responsibilities

• Filming video in studio and on location
• Scheduling and coordinating video shoots with pilots

• Meet deadlines and manage tasks with minimal oversight

• Collaborating with teams to plan video shoots, including required shots, locations,

and maneuvers

• Transporting necessary equipment to video shoots
• Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment
• Creating digital graphics and B roll as needed to support video production
• Scouting possible video shoot locations
• Be flexible enough to quickly shift priorities when needed

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Digital Media or equivalent experience

Ability to work independently with some guidance

Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs to audio and video equipment

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required

Experience using Final Cut Pro for editing is a plus

3D animation experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• The ability to lift up to 40 pounds, independently
• Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for long periods

*Some travel and weekends will be required
