Job Description/Essential Functions:
Purpose:
Direct and oversee the Wellness Alliance.
Monitor planning, development and evaluation and ensure their delivery within established budgetary guidelines.
Ensure compliance of all funding source regulations and Agency policies and procedures.
Develop new services or adapt existing services in response to consumer, regulatory or funding demands.
Supervision Received:
Receives general supervision from the Project Director from the Wellness Alliance.
Supervision Exercised:
Supervises the Wellness Alliance Team Leaders, Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Administrative Manager, and other team members as necessary.
Job Qualifications:
Qualifications:
. M.A. degree in Human Services/Social Sciences, Healthcare in a related field and at least 5 years ofexperience in the MH/MR field; at least 2-3 years of prior supervisory/management experience in theMH/MR field; or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level ofknowledge, skill and ability required. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to work independently. * Detail oriented and very strong organization skills. * Strong analytical and program development skills.
Scope:
* Frequent talking and listening. * Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop and bend which may include directintervention with clients. * Must be available for local travel. * Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills. * May require crisis intervention in emergency situations. * Must be available for local travel and possess a valid driver's license.* Required to carry a beeper/and or cell phone and be available to respond to emergency situations.* Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to do 24 hour on-call coverage.
