Job Responsibilities
1. Customer advocate for order fulfillment & delivery of roughly 8200 SKU'S
2. Communication and processing of change, credits, and returns as well as resolving discrepancies
3. Perform receivable functions of unloading, recording, encoding & organizing for efficient retrieval, while protecting against product damage
4. Containerize and load products for distribution and record shipments
5. Primary communicator (written& verbal) with internal and external customers
6. Work with purchasing specialists, department sales, and other departments
7. Need to be self managed to perform duties & to solve problems
8. Ability to accurately handle cash money transactions and collections
9. Inventory cycle counting. Tracking and documentation
10. Manage inventory of product through timely accurate processing of low stock requisitioning
11. Assist at Bobcat Parts and Rental Counter when needed
12. Gather and monitor bids from suppliers to ensure least cost product
13. Gather pricing information from suppliers and prepare quotes to support all areas of Live Production
14. Other tasks and duties as assigned by the manager
15. Cannot own or raise any type of fowl (i.e. turkeys, chickens, geese, pheasants, parakeets, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma with 2 year or more customer service experience
* Typing background & ability to correctly use ten key
* Good math skills
* Working knowledge of DMS software
* Good organizational and housekeeping skills
* Valid driver's license with good driving record
* Handjack skills/possess or have the ability to obtain Jennie-O Turkey Store Bobcat Operator & Fork Lift License
* Skills to drive a standard transmission pickup towing a trailer with Bobcat or other cargo
* Understand & follow Material Safety Data Sheets, other safety procedures & policies or instructions
* PHYSICAL: Able to lift 35 lbs to knees frequently, chest occasionally/lift 25 lbs overhead, occasional spurts of large quantities/lift 75 lbs occasional chest height
* Work in all weather conditions/occasional dusty conditions/navigate stairs, hurdles, & uneven surfaces
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of product use and understanding of functions performed
* Working knowledge of retail counter money transactions
* 2 yrs customer service or sales experience
