We are seeking a December 2022 grad to start in January of 2023 to start in this position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Associate Customer Supply Chain Analyst works with the Supply Chain Development Manager to ensure customer supply chain expectations are met cost effectively. This position will provide analytical support to drive supply chain improvements to create beneficial outcomes for both the customer and Hormel. This role with interface and work cross functional with supply chain and retail sales team.

Level of position offered, either Senior Supply Chain Analyst or Supply Chain Analyst, will be determined based on candidates skills and experience.

The Associate Customer Supply Chain Analyst works with the Supply Chain Development Manager to ensure customer supply chain expectations are met cost effectively. This role with interface and work cross functional with supply chain and retail sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position will be responsible for developing, building, monitoring and reporting on Customer Supply Chain scorecard results for Focus and Core customers. The incumbent may support front line sales for Core and Base at Top 2 Top meeting/joint business plans or other high level customer appointments with supply chain insights and recommendations as prioritized with the Supply Chain Development Manager.
- Serve as the point person for Core and Base customers to resolve repetitive customer service issues and identify/pursue customer savings opportunities. Works cross functionally across supply chain and sales teams to optimize and to improve Hormel supply chain efficiency and value for customer.
- Pulls together data from disparate sources including mainframe, transportation, claims, orders, invoices, high radius to provide insights which support good business decisions related to the supply chain for focus and core customers. These insights include support of preferred vendor negotiations, rebalancing of customer supply chain networks.
- This position will also help the Supply Chain Development Manager to proactively address retail wide customer service issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Level of position offered, either Senior Supply Chain Analyst or Supply Chain Analyst, will be determined based on candidates skills and experience.
Required
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field. Graduating in December of 2022
- A pattern of initiative and driving improvement.
- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.
- Well-developed interpersonal, organizational skills and analytical skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing disparate sources of data.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
