Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The Patient Care Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient experiences, providing support throughout their treatment journey, and assisting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality care remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage receptionist duties by serving as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries, providing customer support and coordinating telehealth visits.
- Conduct initial consultations to assess patient eligibility for GLP-1 medications and Hormone Therapy, and provide basic information about treatment options.
- Provide customer support by promptly addressing patient questions, concerns, and issues via phone, text, and email.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and rescheduling as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous learning opportunities to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer support (ideally in patient coordination in a healthcare setting)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to learn telehealth platforms, electronic medical records (EMRs) and google drive.
- Willingness to learn HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of GLP-1 medications, Hormone Therapy, or related therapeutic areas is a plus
- Experience working in a telehealth or remote patient care setting is a plus.
