Responsibilities, Expectations, And Duties
- Draft and design projects for various structures projects
- Be enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-disciplined to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers
- Prepare plans and layouts generated in Microstation InRoads, Open Roads Designer, or AutoCAD 3D Civil
- Produce accurate output with a keen eye for aesthetics
- Manage project data files from various sources
- Be proactive and responsive in effectively communicating with colleagues and clients, both in-person and virtually/remotely
- Associates degree or equivalent technical degree
- Knowledge of DOT standards is a plus, but not required
- Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers
- Be familiar with Microstation InRoads, Open Roads Designer and/or AutoCAD 3D Civil
- Manage project data files from various sources
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; ability to think 3-dimensionally
- Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities
- Be a professional, creative, team-focused individual that works well with others in a team environment
- Be enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-disciplined to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
