Horselux Equestrian Center is a private, 50-acre sport-horse facility including a 65,000 square foot main barn and indoor arena. We aim to establish ourselves as the premier equestrian destination in Northern North Carolina with a vertically integrated model that includes in-house veterinary care.
We are looking to partner with a NC Licensed equine Veterinarian to fund the buildout of a small Veterinary practice at our facility.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and compassionate equine Veterinarian to join the team at our 50-acre, private sport-horse facility that includes a 65,000 square foot main barn and indoor arena.
We are looking for a Vet that wants to partner with us to run their own practice out of our facility, while still maintaining the safety of a salary and benefits. Our vision is to build you a state-of-the-art equine medical center within our 65,000 square foot facility as well as fully equip you for mobile barn-calls.
We offer a salary and benefits and are looking for a 50/50 split on profits produced. You will have access to our in-house marketing, branding, accounting, and customer service staff to aid in running the practice.
Additionally, this vet will be responsible for the health care of our own stable of 20 imported sport-horses. Preference given to vets who can also manage care for the facilities goats, dogs, and other farm animals.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of animal anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions. Emphasis at our facility is on imported sport-horses.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing preventative care, performing routine examinations, and administering vaccinations. Our Veterinarian will also be expected to educate staff and clients on pet health and nutrition, as well as provide emergency care when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat animal diseases and injuries.
- Perform medical and surgical procedures on animals.
- Provide preventive care for animals.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care.
- Maintain accurate medical records of patients.
- Prescribe medications as needed.
- Monitor the health of animals in their care.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
