Job Posting for Nursing Informatics Analyst at Hospice of Northwest Ohio

Utilizing the knowledge and skills of nursing practice, this position is the technical liaison between IT and clinical users and is a resource for all clinical areas. This position assists with the planning, implementation and education of new and/or updated clinical EMR processes while ensuring the system is consistent with professional standards of clinical practice.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of hospice nursing experience required; experience using an electronic medical record system also required.
  • Possesses strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong leadership skills.
  • Understands the hospice philosophy, principles of death/dying, concepts of pain/symptom management, and adult teaching/learning principles.
