What You Will Do

You will be responsible for elevating the knowledge and skills of our team via the design and delivery of purposeful training. This leadership role will be a key contributor in ensuring that each Hotchkiss team member contributes to the company's growth and success. From a team member’s first day, you will lead our “career care” efforts, ensuring their journey with Hotchkiss is full of growth and opportunity!
How You Will Do It
- Serve as an integral part of the agency services team, making recommendations on strategy and approach to drive innovation and exceed organizational expectations
- Conduct ongoing needs analysis, curriculum development, facilitation, tracking, and measurement to meet the development and training needs of the organization (i.e. Industry Development, Professional Development, Technical Skills, Life Skills, and Continuing Education)
- Utilize comprehensive learning content leveraging adult learning principles for virtual, face-to-face, and just-in-time learning
- Manage budget and administrative requirements related to curriculum development, training resources (internal & external), and training program implementation
- Oversee the continued development and execution of the new hire orientation and onboarding process
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in education, organizational development, instructional design, or human resources business administration
- At least five years in a corporate/enterprise setting in a training and development leadership role
- Experience creating and delivering training in areas of performance, coaching, employee/team development, and change management
- Comfortable and credible presenting before groups in any setting
- Excellent communication skills with all levels within the organization; ability to translate and articulate methodologies and processes into action
- Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change; ability to influence decisions and drive behavior/organizational change with internal stakeholders
- Resourceful, savvy, and execution-oriented
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Leads others to innovate and think creatively about learning solutions, learning technology, and how to drive overall adoption
- Insists on high standards for evaluating and reporting on learning impact
- Skilled project manager
- Experience managing/implementing a learning technology ecosystem
- Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with The Hotchkiss Way
