ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Embody the shared values of Hotel Drover
- Detect, research, and resolve purchasing issues and problems with incorrect orders, invoices, and shipments
- Responsible for properly receiving, storing, and issuing all food and beverage, non-perishable items
- Inspect and unpack all merchandise received, and stock/store it
- Responsible for logging and tracking all items received
- Facilitate the delivery of incoming items to the correct departments
- Delivers all packages to all outlets on property.
- Responsible for the cleaning of all storerooms and coolers/walk-in.
- Ability to operate hand truck, lift-jack, and dolly.
- Verify that no requisitions are left open (all requisitions should be completed and closed out).
- Check and lock all coolers/storeroom doors before departure at end-of-day
- Responsible for maintaining the incoming package log
- Ensure vendors follow Hotel Drover delivery protocol and hours for delivery
- Participate in the monthly inventory
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of workspace area & supply storage spaces
- Train all new users on purchasing system
- Prepare correspondence, forms, manuals, reports, purchase orders, and payment authorizations using a computer
- Prepare and maintain vendor database and bidder lists

- Available to work a varied schedule that will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Passion for creating an amazing experience for our guests and team members
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities; passion for collaboration and providing administrative support
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate to heavyweight.
- Must have strong computer skills
- Receiving experience is preferred
