Summary:
Assists with planning catering services, food and beverage, and banquet facilities through direct client contact to maximize profits from food and beverage revenues and meeting room rental. Works with hotel and banquet staff to ensure proper delivery of services, maintains ongoing relationships with hotel/resort clients.
Duties/Tasks:
Ensure proper guest satisfaction and efficiency
Work with guests and meeting planners to develop and execute Banquet Event Orders
Direct positive involvement with guests and meeting planners
Enters and manages room blocks, deposits, cutoffs, and cancellations for hotel/resort
Sales abilities and confidence directing guests through their event planning
Conducts tours of the hotel and banquet facilities and exposes clients to facilities and services; entertains qualified potential clients
Assists client in menu and event planning, and procurement of any outside services requested for execution of event.
Assures all requirements are communicated and completed to the client's specifications.
Responds quickly to guest/client requests in a friendly manner
Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
