Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
The Bartender is responsible for courteously and efficiently waiting on guests while creating and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The ideal Bartender will maintain a friendly and cheerful demeanor while providing personalized service to guests. Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Treat everyone with a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
- Assist with all aspects of the dining experience.
- Have a deep-rooted knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and all other beverages to guide your guests to the best possible dining experience.
- Develop a strong understanding of the food menu and best pairing of both cocktails, beers, and wines to go along with each menu item.
- Professionally serve beverages and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Process all cash and charge transactions according to house procedures.
- Stock side station with garnishments, bar mats, mixers, ice, and jiggers.
- Stock beverages and mixes for next shift.
- Close checks and run reports at the end of shift.
- Maintain clean bar tables, chairs, stools, and counter surface at all times.
- Assist other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant, and hotel.
- Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management.
- Adhere to Crowne Plaza guidelines to ensure the health, safety and comfort of our team members and guests.
- Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines.
Requirements
- 1 year of Bartending experience
- Hotel Experience
- Must meet State minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Basic knowledge of all bar equipment and its functions including Point of Sale System
- Knowledge of state and local guidelines regarding service of alcohol
- Knowledge of drink preparation
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and multiple-tasking skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
