Role Summary
Join our team as a Pastry Cook for Hotel Jerome, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by planning, preparing, setting up, and providing high-quality service in all areas of pastry and dessert items.
Key Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
- Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and resort requirements
- Meet with Pastry Chef to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes, and other information pertinent to running an efficient operation
- Prioritize all mise en place and tasks to ensure they are completed in a timely and correct fashion
- Ensure proper storage of foods and properly regulating
- Maintain cleanliness of work station(s) at all times to uphold federal, local and state Health Department regulations
- Produce a safe working environment and practice safe food handling procedures
- Maintain professional image and follow uniform protocol
- Keep track of inventory and necessary ingredients
- Ability to accurately prep to meet the demands of the day
- One or more years of experience as a pastry cook or assistant pastry cook in a fine or upscale dining environment
- Ability to lift 30lbs
- Ability to maneuver/function in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Salary : $19 - $21
