JOB DESCRIPTION
As President of Hotel Tango Distillery, you will play a pivotal role in leading our company to continued success. Collaborating closely with the CEO and Leadership Team, you will set and drive the organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs. You will translate strategy into actionable goals and KPI metrics for performance and growth, helping implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to set and drive the organizational vision, operational strategy, hiring needs, and capital raise responsibilities.
Translate strategy into actionable goals and KPI metrics for leadership team, helping implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.
Manage day-to-day operations, leading Marketing, Sales, Production, Tasting Room and Human Resources department heads to improve quality & efficiency, reduce costs, and improve profits.
Analyze internal operations and identify opportunities for revenue generation, cost reduction, and operational efficiencies.
Lead and foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and personal development, building a highly inclusive culture to ensure team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.
Maintain awareness and knowledge of the company's daily finances, periodically analyze budgets and financial reports, and update and revise as needed to increase profitability and achieve company profitability goals.
Maintain knowledge of the distilled spirits industry, compliance, tax liabilities, implications, and exemptions, as well as finances and operations.
Create and maintain relationships with the community and industry leaders, encouraging business investments and fostering strategic alliances, mergers, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, venture capital partners, and the Board of Directors, facilitating capital raise efforts and ensuring sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets.
Establish, implement, and enforce organizational policies and procedures.
Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed.
Facilitate the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials for the CEO, Board of Directors, and Investors.
Collaborating with legal counsel and leadership team on execution of contracts and negotiations.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, entrepreneurship or similar field required (MBA Preferred)
Candidate must be eligible to attain Indiana alcohol permit
Must be able to gain access to military bases
Clean driving record to qualify for company insurance
Travel required up to 20%
Ability to bend, lift, carry 50 pounds
Ability to walk/or stand for several hours

EXPERIENCE
8-10 years' adult beverage industry experience, preferable in distilled spirits, gained from working your way up the corporate ladder through various roles and jobs.
Demonstrated success in taking a high-growth, rapidly scaling organization through exit, increasing top-line revenue growth and improving margins, with strong P&L and balance sheet management and solid financial and business acumen.
Successful development and execution of complex strategic plans across multiple disciplines; including Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance & Human Resources - ensuring collaboration and cooperation among internal stakeholders
Proven experience building, leading and managing high-functioning teams
