We are a small business based in Anne Arundel County but servicing hot tubs all over Maryland and the DMV. The Job:
Enjoy working with your hands? Enjoy working outside? Have repair tech experience of any kind? (We find that folks with HVAC experience or other home appliance techs tend to understand hot tubs pretty well *thumbs up*). Enoy finding problems and fixing them?...
...Then this is the job for you! This job is never boring (but relatively easy once you know what you're doing AND you can make pretty good money even on the "simple" jobs!) As a hot tub repair technician, you'll learn to be a little bit of a jack-of-all-trades:
1. Chemist: You will be called upon to correct bad water conditions, with accurate testing and chemical additions.
2. Electrician: Most hot tubs are quite electrical, with loads like the pump motors, heater, pc board (printed circuit board), etc.
3. Engineer: Hydraulics and flow mechanics. Make repairs to the plumbing, install new hot tub equipment like pumps and heaters.
Duties:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on hot tubs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with hot tubs
- Use power and hand tools to complete repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Service Technician or similar role is great
- Knowledge of power and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
- Weekends if you prefer
- Ability to add additional days/hours - work as much or as little as you want!
Requirements:
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle (preferably a truck or van)
- Must be able to train in Anne Arundel County, but location outside of the area after training is no problem! We have job opportunities all over the surrounding areas and we'll keep you busy!
Training and Pay:
- On the job training
- Pay will start as training pay and then increase as you start going out on your own
- Pay up to $60/hour trip charges once you're out in your own truck, depending on experience and reliability
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour
