What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sustainability Program Analyst position at Hourigan?
STRUCTR Advisors is seeking a Sustainability Program Analyst in our Energy and Sustainability Division. This role will ensure that all sustainable project tools, resources, and strategies are followed and implemented. In addition, this role will work with project teams to inspect and track the status of compliance for the achievement of sustainable project goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support our Senior Manager, Energy and Sustainability to deliver top-notch services to our clients.
- Manage sustainability compliance across STRUCTR's projects with the support of the Sustainability Program Coordinator.
- Travel to jobsites to ensure sustainability standards are in accordance with project goals and review inspections and reports.
- Attend project meetings to monitor progress and compliance of contractors and subcontractors.
- Gather and review documentation for sustainability third-party certification compliance.
- Maintain all sustainability third-party related logs, documentation, and submit project for sustainability third-party auditing at closeout.
- Aid, research, and report on sustainable design services and innovative sustainable building strategies and technologies.
- Research, assess, and build a database of green building programs, technologies, and materials; enhance any proprietary tools and documents for tracking and compliance.
- Develop and distribute reports to project teams that effectively communicate the status of sustainable design and construction requirements.
- Conduct quality control initiatives that maintain project compliance and keep project teams on track for success.
- Communicate critical project information and milestones to project stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in sustainability management and environmental studies, construction management, engineering, or other related discipline
- Accreditations such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional, WELL Accredited Professional
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the AEC industry with sustainability experience
- Must demonstrate experience in the construction industry and sustainable building.
- Knowledge of green building trends, relevant sustainable design elements, and technologies
- Detailed and process oriented.
- Organized and strong at task prioritization
- Fosters a strong desire to learn and welcomes new challenges.
- Professional and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Able to work independently, but also values teamwork and collaboration.
