We are looking for skilled Machine Operators to maintain and operate machinery. Ability to set-up and operate machines according to drawing specifications. Experience machining wood a strong plus. Pay rate adjusted based on level of experience and ability to set-up.

Responsibilities
- Assist and/or own machine set up
- Ability to start and run a production cycle with little supervision
- Utilize drawings, routings, and work instructions to perform quality inspection
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Monitor and maintain the condition of cutting tools
- Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity logs
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals is required
Skills
- Proven reliability and experience as a machine operator
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
- Knowledge of CNC programming / machining, including the ability to read, understand, and edit basic programs a high benefit
- Understanding of production procedures
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
- Ability to interact and communicate in a collaborative environment
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Analytical skills

- Teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength with the ability to stand for long periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
