Asset manager in New York City is actively seeking a dedicated professional to join team as a new Investor Relations & Marketing Associate. In this role, the Investor Relations & Marketing Associate will partner with the Founder, Senior Partner, and COO to oversee marketing, fundraising and investor relations. You will work with the senior management team to define and implement a marketing strategy. The role outlines and executes a marketing strategy that drives significant investor engagement.
Responsibilities
Maintain and develop relationships with institutional investors by ensuring the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and stakeholders
- Support fundraising efforts for all funds across the firm's platform by developing marketing and due diligence materials, such as presentations, one-pagers, and due diligence questionnaires
- Work across functions to obtain and synthesize information from the respective teams to prepare materials and respond to ad hoc requests
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor research, including keeping track of investment vehicles, strategy, and performance of peers
- Coordinate investor, prospect, and consultant calls and meetings
- Track activities and investor pipeline
- Maintain contact information in CRM system to support fundraising process
- Develop and provide oversight of a strategic marketing and fundraising plan to increase investor base and growth across multiple funds
- Help to craft the narrative and messaging that is communicated to investors
- Reimagine, review, and update the pitch book to also include all prep, pre-meeting documents, briefings, and points of view
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong interpersonal / communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experienced in creating presentations and packets
- Excellent communication skills, deadline-driven
- Experience in investor relations, investment banking, sales and trading, or investment management
- Series 7 / Series 63 ( a plus)
