Job Title: Salesforce Administrator
Department: HQ BI Intelligence
Reports To: Director of Business Intelligence
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Objective:
Reporting to the BI director, Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform. You will work closely with management, end-users, and different levels of the organization to make suggestions on how to improve business processes. In addition, this individual will create and maintained detailed business requirements, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for our business.
Scope:
Salesforce Administrator will be the principal subject matter expert while leading maintenance, strategic enhancements, feature evaluation and implementation, user acceptance testing, technical project implementation, integration efforts, and advanced user support.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment
Handles all functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other tasks
Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
Develop and update technical documentation.
Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
Responsible for administrative tasks such as creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Email Services, Approvals Processes, Workflow Rules, Validation Rules, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks Events
Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
Work with our commercial management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
Deploys training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
Effectively act as the liaison between users, vendors and the application development teams
Transform business requirements into functionally useful business intelligence solutions.
Work independently with members of the user community to define, guide, and document development requirements

Education & Experience:
BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant experience may suffice
Minimum of 3 year Salesforce experience
Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
Saleforce.com Admin certified
Strong understanding of Dashboard development and structure
Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
Strong data management abilities
A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
Project Management experience preferred
Expert using common toolsets such as MS Excel including Pivot tables, Power Pivot, and Excel data models.
Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Working knowledge of BI systems such as Power BI and/or Tableau
Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps and applications available from 3rd parties on the Salesforce AppExchange
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written, verbal, and documentation skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Motivated self-starter who can handle problems with minimal supervision.
Flexible managing multiple assignments and be proficient in managing priorities.
Strong team player skills, with a collaborative, solution-driven mentality.
