We are currently hiring a Full-Time Optical Machine Operator
Hourly Rate: $18 per hour shift differential up to 20% signing bonus

What you’ll do:
- Prepare and clean lenses to load into trays for processing.
- Ensure lenses are clean of dust and debris.
- Loading, sorting and prepping lenses for processing.
- Monitor machine status for auto surfacing line that generates Rx prescription.
- Use or load specialized coating machines to add treatments to surfaced lenses.
- Set up lenses into racks, feed, or load lenses into machine.
- Visual inspection of the lenses after process.
- May include inserting completed lenses into frames.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in the Optical Industry as it relates to ophthalmic lenses is a plus.
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed (may include weekends or holidays).
- Able to read and write English language.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, most positions will require the employee to stand and use hands to manipulate or handle lenses or lab trays.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
