We’re on the lookout for an experienced National Events, Strategic Partnerships and Communities Manager to join our team. A core function within the Marketing and Communications team, this role is responsible for bringing our brands to life across key touchpoints, including events, strategic communities and partnerships. You’ll build preference amongst prospective clients, as well as enhance stickiness among existing clients with engaging experiences.
Combining meticulous attention to detail with creative flair, you’ll work with internal stakeholders across the country to create and execute events that leave an indelible mark in our clients’ minds. You’ll build and nurture tight-knit communities that align our purpose with the nation’s most innovative founders, entrepreneurs and business leaders. You’ll forge partnerships with like-minded brands, amplifying the power of our message and tapping into new audiences to help fuel continued growth for Hamilton Locke and Source.

Your role
- Define national events strategy for client-facing events in order to drive brand preference, revenue growth and client stickiness.
- Support the end-to-end execution of online and offline events, including project management, event logistics, client event communications, event branding and marketing, and using the CRM to track attendees.
- Oversee and strengthen HPX Group’s strategic communities, including but not limited to the Summit Leadership Forum Retreat and Awards Programs (Australian Growth Company Awards and Tech Scale-Up Awards).
- Identify aligned sponsors for our awards programs and manage sponsor relationships and retention.
- Managing national partnerships for Hamilton Locke, Source and HPX Group in line with brand positioning and to support brand awareness and lead generation.
- 5 years' experience in event management, with a proven track record of producing high-quality client events.
- Strong external and executive event management, planning and execution experience.
- A keen eye for detail and strong project management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal engagement and communications (oral / written).
- Exceptional administrative, coordination and project execution experience.
- Demonstrated potential in building and nurturing strategic communities.
- Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills across teams, from C-suite to partners, lawyers and graduates.
- Experience within professional services or in legal practice is highly desirable.
