The Talent Development Intern will support the Talent Development team.  This role will receive practical, hands-on learning experiences in human resources with a goal of applying their classroom education to actual LCS projects and assignments. 

 

As part of the internship program, students will gain additional skills to prepare them for entering the job market, including interviewing, presentations, and a performance evaluation to further enhance their experience.

The Role:

  • Keep events updated, files uploaded, assist with registration and payment details.
  • Assist with planning content for conferences by attending planning calls and participating in discussions to determine content.
  • Research topics for General Sessions or Breakouts for disciplines Update all agendas and collateral to “Experience is Everything” branding and eliminate “Together We’re Greater” tagline.
  • Additional projects may be identified as needed

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years completed towards bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Candidates must have technical experience in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Natural curiosity and high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivator and posses’ confidence to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrates effective leadership skills.
  • Good planning and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to follow directions and ask questions to ensure a productive internship.
