GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Student Position – HR Records Digitization has the important responsibility of digitizing employee records. Scanning and digitization - preparing records for digitization; separating a variety of records, preparing paper documents for digitization, removing staples, binding, and removing paperclips. Keen attention to detail is a must to ensure that documents are correctly matched to cover sheet and scanned using scanning software. Student must ensure records are properly filed and maintained with reference to our retention policy. In working with Information Technology, files are then upload performing quality control to ensure documents are scanned correctly with clear images and migrated successfully into internal database. Document security and confidentiality are necessary to follow best practices for document and file security for both paper and digital documents. Ability to evaluate specific work situations and to decide appropriate action based upon decision-making principles and sound judgment, achieving accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
