We are seeking an ambitious Sales Coordinator and Business Development Manager who is a self-starter and can also work in a dynamic team setting with other high-performance professionals. This person will support multiple retail channels including Dollar, Value, Drug, & White Space (ex. Ulta, etc.). This candidate will ensure Field Sales support of line review materials (presentations), innovation samples and Trade Show/Broker activity. This is a full-time position and reports to the SVP of Sales- Westport CT. The requirement will be working inside the office only 2 days a week and them remote the balance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of the Skin Cleansing and Hair & Conditioning branding and trade story.
- Sales analytics, PowerPoint sales presentations, incremental fund tracking process, management reporting & overall developmental responsibilities
- Sales reporting. Excel driven but through our proprietary system called Qlik
- Manage the sales sample process to include coordinating and partnering with the product development team, artists and the trade marketing team to deliver the necessary samples.
- Manage the sales creative request process to include supporting the creation of the process, training, implementation to streamline the process, increase trackability and accountability.
- Assist with overall execution of key Sales programs including facilitating digital and social media assets and facilitation of customers website maintenance
- Manage internal SharePoint site for central presentation and asset access for external usage
- Direct responsibility for growth will be our Telesales channel which is our direct sales channel that has high growth potential
Requirements:
- 2-5 years’ experience in a Sales or Marketing role
- Comfort and experience in a fast-paced environment
- Must have great attitude, teamwork skills, energy and the ability to overcome obstacles independently.
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- MS Office Suite. Preferred candidate possesses advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint
- Superior interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people
- Ability and desire to attend customer trade show events
- Experience with International customers and export sales helpful
- Graphic art and design background would be interesting- not required
