Key Responsibilities:
- Administer payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, organizing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial phone screens.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documents, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee records in accordance with policy and legal requirements, including personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance evaluations, and termination information.
- Provide support in the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Address employee queries and concerns regarding HR issues, benefits, and payroll with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department, such as preparing reports, handling correspondence, and scheduling meetings.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or relevant role.
- Experience with HR software (e.g., HRIS or HRMS) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
- In-depth understanding of payroll process and relevant legal regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
- Professional certification in HR or Payroll (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CPP) is a plus.
Salary:
- The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $26.00 hourly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
