We are currently seeking a part time Employee Benefits Coordinator to join our team. The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and servicing of assigned group Benefit accounts. This position works closely with the Benefits Team Manager in managing new and existing client account relationships, while maintaining a high level of client service and satisfaction.
Benefit Coordinator responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Coordinators liaison between clients and vendor/third party administrator teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs. Manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationship with clients.
Responsibilities to include:
Administering employee benefits, such as health, dental, vision, life, section 125 and retirement plans;
Small group experience required, large group experience a plus;
Professional and timely communication to clients and their employees in regards to benefit services;
Proactively keep up with changing regulatory requirements;
Oversee preparation of informational materials and benefit plan presentations to employees, always maintaining a superb level of professionalism;
Obtain renewals for all lines of coverage: Medical, Dental, Vision, Ancillary;
Oversee and participate in enrollment of new employees;
Responds to medical wage notices;
Performs benefit and medical invoice audits;
Manage ongoing client service relationships for 25-35 clients;
Manage eligibility and age band reports;
Updates payroll deductions for benefit renewals and new hires;
Maintains benefit payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data;
Resolves payroll deduction discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information;
Provides benefit payroll deduction information by answering questions and requests.
Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:
2 years of Benefits Administration type experience;
Heavy Excel use with data entry and analysis;
Data entry skills with emphasis on accuracy;
Ability to problem solve and maximize the available resources
Strong organizational and presentation skills, including written and verbal;
Ability to convey information to upper management in a concise and coherent presentation.
Strong skills in MS Word, Outlook and web based services.
