The Executive Assistant will provide broad gauge support, principally secretarial / administrative tasks. This role requires you to exercise confidentiality, tact and diplomacy and have sufficient expertise in their area to appropriately support their executive.  Prior experience in Public Policy is ideal.  Treating all constituents like clients, with a service-oriented attitude, is a must. 

Here’s what you can expect:

As our Executive Assistant you will oversee projects such as large and complex meeting scheduling, event planning and have decision making authority/autonomy. Business coverage will likely include: Organizing schedules, maintaining calendars, arranging travel and accommodations, preparing and submit complex executive level expense reports in an accurate and timely manner with a thorough knowledge of the expense management system, supporting administration, composing presentations, drafting reports and assisting with key documents such as business plans which requires working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel, engaging with external parties and service providers, including regulatory stakeholders and other senior parties requiring highly sensitive handling and communication, and act as gatekeeper or primary point of contact roles for the Public Policy Leadership team.

 

For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $59,500 and $89,200.

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
