Extruder Operator - 2nd Shift

This is a 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 11:00 am-7:00 pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work in a safe manner and follow all safety policies and procedures

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace
• Set up and monitor extrusion process parameters
• Troubleshoot basic process and equipment issues
• Follows detailed product specifications, work instructions, and manufacturing orders
• Document production outputs, times, and efficiencies
• Verify and document that product quality specifications are being met
• Participates in continuous improvement activities
• Aspire to continuously acquire additional process and equipment knowledge

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED or 2 years of manufacturing experience
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to drive forklift/squeeze lift
• Must be able to use measuring devices
• Technically minded with a thorough attention to details
• Documentation must be legible and accurate
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good work ethic
• A good attitude
• Must have excellent attendance
• Must be able to work overtime/weekends, as needed.
• Prior extrusion experience is a plus
