HSM is seeking qualified candidates for the Brakek Press Operator position at our Metal Plant in Fort Smith, AR. This is a 1st shift position. Listed below are the Qualifications and Requirements for the position.

Responsibilities
- Retrieve pieces of raw materials from rack or bin and place in machine.
- Rotate raw materials through various positions in die.
- Place finished pieces in an empty bin or rack.
- Check parts quality.
- Fill out paperwork properly (First piece inspection sheets)
- Make quality checks every 100 pcs. & record results hourly.
- Train new hires and/ or cross train employees
- Maintain maintenance records.
- Perform safety check each day and inform maintenance of issues.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform repair and maintenance activities on equipment as assigned. This may include help from the maintenance department when necessary.
- Empty slug buckets or containers as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job.
- Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must be able to count and do simple math skills.
- Must be able to do some heavy lifting.
- Must be able to use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, crane, gauges, and other various general hand tools.
- Minimum of 6 months of previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred, but not required for consideration.

Pay Range
Starting from USD $19.52/Hr.EEOC
