The role of the Regional Sales Manager is to be the face of HTI to the community. The Regional Sales Manager identifies and pursues new business opportunities and grows existing business in the community supported by our fast-paced branch office in Ladson, SC by building strong, long-term relationships with customers and prospective businesses and organizations.
Essential Job Function :
- Identify sales prospects within the defined territory.
- Assist in the development of presentations, proposals and sales contracts for all core service lines.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, job fairs, trade shows, and others.
- Present company services to current and potential clients
- Proactively participate in all aspects of the sales process, including phone contacts, meetings, proposals / presentations, etc.
to clients and prospects.
- Entertain prospects for lunch and associated entertainment functions.
- Prepare, submit, and present reports as requested on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Assist in sales projects such as candidate marketing, quarterly initiatives, etc.
- Utilize contact management systems and tools.
- Other duties as directed by HTI management.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities :
- Must be a self-starter, with a proactive, pressure driven sense of urgency.
- Ability to present a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public.
- Work requires a significant amount of local / regional travel; a valid state driver’s license is required.
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
Education and Experience :
- 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
- High School Diploma required, BS / BA preferred.
- Knowledge of or previous background in HR, Recruiting, or Staffing preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communications required.
