Job Description: Full-time, 9-month tenure-track position in Clinical Laboratory Science beginning August 2022. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate level clinical laboratory sciences and research courses, student advising, some administrative responsibilities, active research, scholarly/professional activities, and service. Responsibilities: • Primary responsibilities include teaching didactic and laboratory aspects of undergraduate courses in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, specifically in the core disciplines of Microbiology and Research. • Assist with other Clinical Laboratory Science courses as appropriate for enhancing instructional delivery and contributing to departmental goals. • Conduct research and apply for extramural research funding. • Engage in department, college, and/or university committees as appropriate • Advise and mentor undergraduate students to foster retention and progression • Participate in scholarly activities, service to the profession, and professional practice • Serve on committees as delegated by the Dean and Chair of the department. • Perform other Department, College, and University-related duties as required COVID - 19 Vaccination Information: All newly hired faculty, staff and student employees are required to vaccinate and to have proof of vaccination(s) upon their first day of employment.
