What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wireperson position at Hubbell Incorporated?
The Assemblerperforms general duties under the direction of the production supervisor, thisincludes installing components into panels per the production specification sheet.
- Produce at the established production rates and quality standards with moderate supervision.
- Working independently or with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Identifying lead wire and terminal types and installing them per production specification sheet.
- Assuring that all products meet the highest standard of quality.
- Following all safety rules and ISO requirements.
- Adhering to all company rules and policies.
- Keeping work areas clean and organized.
- Ensuring that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.
- Operating a hoist properly and safely.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Read, use, and understand measuring devices.
- Ability to stand for excessive periods of time.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Understanding of measurements using standard and metric measuring devices.
- Proficiency with hand tools
