Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager of Hubner Manufacturing Corporation, the Financial Analyst is responsible for controlling, monitoring, planning, and reducing expenses related to overhead operations, consolidating and analyzing financial data, and providing financial analytical support to other cross functional departments.
Position Responsibilities
Act a liaison between the Finance & Controlling department and other cross functional teams by providing financial models and support as needed
Maintain, compile, and present key performance indicators company wide
Assist in building pricing proposals for new and existing projects using profit and loss analysis
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, financial forecasting and annual budget
General accounting functions such as journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed asset postings, and auditing overhead cost centers expenses
Perform bank reconciliations, treasury actions, and three-way-match analyses
Review investment proposals and conduct return on investment analysis
Analyze, interpret, and perform variance analysis and provide recommendations based on findings
Review and develop cost saving initiatives company wide
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
Support month & year end close process
Support Finance & Controlling team in Ad-hoc tasks
Other job duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
1-3 years of experience working in finance or accounting in a manufacturing setting
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or business related field
SAP experience
Advanced level of Excel skillset
Detail oriented and ability to drive change
Ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with standard office technologies such as Microsoft Office and accounting software
