What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Brand Paid Media position at HubSpot?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Brand Paid Media to oversee and own HubSpot's media strategy and execution for awareness, consideration, and demand-driving campaigns across brand, experiential, and the HubSpot Media Network.
Specifically, we want someone with demonstrated experience and a strong network that can help bring to life stunty, breakthrough placements, and executions that generate outsize impact for our campaigns and experiential executions.
This role will report to our Head of Paid Advertising with a dotted line into the Head of Brand & Social Marketing.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Strategy- & Insights-Driven: To develop and implement comprehensive paid media strategies, including digital, social, display, CTV/OLV, linear, OOH, and other relevant channels.
- A Seasoned Campaign Manager: Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across multiple platforms (including the buzzy and unconventional!) to drive brand awareness, consideration, and earned media that leads to revenue.
- Knows Great Brand Media Plans are a Mix of Math & Magic: Working closely with the Head of Brand on the paid media budget, allocating resources effectively, and developing accurate forecasts to move brand KPIs and get attention.
- Can Translate Wins and Optimize for Performance Through the Funnel: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize campaign investments across channels and improve ROI.
- A Passionate Industry & Team Leader: Lead a high-performing brand paid media team, through experience, guidance, training, and mentorship.
- A Natural Collaborator: Work closely with brand, social, creative, partnerships, DR, RevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies and objectives, including full-funnel marketing efforts and a holistic planning approach where 1 1=3.
- A Motivating Partner: Evaluate and manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, channels, and tech partners to drive excellence in execution.
- A Culture Vulture: Stays updated on industry and cultural trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in paid media and digital marketing to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- An Innovator: Break the mold of traditional B2B media buying and push past the status quo with new top-of-funnel approaches.
Qualifications:
- 10 years experience owning large advertising campaigns and budgets, and owning direct buys, for cross-channel execution.
- Strong knowledge of various paid media channels and platforms, including but not limited to Google/YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, programmatic advertising platforms, CTV/OLV/linear, podcasts & audio, OOH.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing breakthrough paid media strategies that drive outsize impact.
Base compensation range: 133-200k USD Annually (plus bonus and equity).

In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot's equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
