Overview
As the Data Analyst, you will be an integral contributor to the digital transformation of Hudson Automotive, a leading management company and retailer in the automotive industry. You will drive the architecture that supports interactive, high-quality visualizations, and ad-hoc reporting to inspire a data-driven decision-making culture.
What You Will Do
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Analyze and evaluate new tool-sets and technologies
What You Will Bring to Hudson
- Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or 3 years of relevant business intelligence and analytics experience
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Experience with SQL, Excel, VBA Macros is an essential requirement
- Experience in combining and manipulating data from multiple sources is an essential requirement
- Comfortable adapting to change to deliver business impact
- Partner with 3rd party vendors to ensure data is received in the proper format and deadlines are met
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are required
- Passion for delivering solutions that improve business outcomes and drive value
- Current or previous experience in the Automotive Industry is preferred

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
