Email Marketing Manager
at Hudson Valley Lighting Group is a creative and analytical individual responsible for working with our digital marketing team to strategize, develop, and execute our email & SMS marketing strategy as part of our holistic digital strategy. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing emails, automated tracks, and simple to complex drip campaigns. As an Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, nurture leads, and increase conversions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content, segment audiences effectively, and optimize campaigns for maximum impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of email & SMS marketing best practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with the marketing & business development teams to develop and execute the email marketing strategy for all HVLG brandsForm a deep understanding of our business & goalsCreate and execute our email calendar to promote products, events, and company initiativesOversee and execute all email marketing projects and updatesWrite engaging and educational copy for emails and subject linesWork with the creative services team to create eye-catching high-aesthetic emailsStrategize and implement new ways to increase open rates and engagementPersonalize the customer journey and maximize every touch point in the customer lifecycleBuild and optimize automated email tracks for all divisions of our businessDefine and implement our list segmentation and personalization strategiesEnsure lists are up to date and segmented properlyDevelop and implement a rigorous testing process, including A/B testingMonitor and develop new initiatives to increase list growth and customer retentionKeep track of email goals & metrics and report on those insights on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisMonitor and forecast digital trends, best practices, and emerging technologiesTroubleshoot email issuesOversee freelancers and agencies as needed for email executionsAssist in the strategy and execution of effective landing pages to ensure positive CTRs and lead generationQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field3 years of email marketing experienceExperience with Active Campaign, SendGrid, or other email marketing software toolsExperience with Attentive or other SMS marketing toolsExperience with Asana or other project management platformsExperience developing, building, and tracking email workflows and automated tracksExcellent time management and the ability to juggle long and short-term deadlinesExcellent attention to detailThe ability to work independently and with a teamComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working under deadlinesPhotoshop and InDesign skills are a plusKnowledge of HTML, CSS, and Omniture are a plusAbility to take direction and follow through on projects assigned
