Experience/Education:
- High School Diploma / Prior administrative experience
Skills Needed:
- Organizational Skills – Ability to manage a variety of paperwork, tasks, and other items efficiently and effectively
- People Skills – ability to answer phones and handle customers as well as call companies to resolve issues with invoices, etc.
- Computer Skills
o Work with a variety of programs (Microsoft programs - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. / and 2 ERP systems for processing invoices)
- Ability to adapt and perform in a high pace environment --- cannot get flustered or bothered by the sometimes-stressful environment that comes with a high pace manufacturing position
Daily Tasks Include:
- Answer the phone
- Cover the front desk
- Sort through previous day’s purchase orders and attach confirmations
- Enter PO’s into the computer
- Check PO’s in books
- Call vendors
- Monitor approved orders
- Process and fax orders
- Get pricing quotes
- Get invoice copies
- Get freight costs
- Match up credit memos to return paperwork
- Call on credits
- Type quotes
- Sort packing slips and match to invoices
- Work 40 hours minimum per week with occasional required overtime
- Standard hours 8:30-5:00
