Position Goal

Provide athletic training outreach services for secondary school(s) and Universities in area.

Position Responsibilities

  • Care for injuries using physical therapy equipment, techniques and medication.
  • Evaluate readiness to return to daily activities, coordinate clearances when necessary and warranted.
  • Responsible for athletic training outreach.
  • Communication with school staff and parents/guardian on status of patients.
  • On site healthcare provider for assigned school.

Experience: Experience in the ATC field preferred, but previous experience is not required.
Education:

  • Must have undergraduate degree in athletic training / sports medicine from CAATE approved College or University.
  • Master's degree in related field preferred.

Special Qualifications:

  • Must have NATA certification in good standing.
  • Current state license required
  • Must have current First Aid, AED, BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Travel Required
