Rebate Analyst
Location: Parsippany, New Jersey (Hybrid - 2 days Onsite)
Job Type: 6-Month Contract

Pay: $45 - 50/hour
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Rebate Analyst with a strong background in Managed Care to join our team. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing rebate programs by ensuring accurate claim validation, maintaining contract terms, and analyzing utilization data. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with financial systems like Model N/Flex and possess deep expertise in Managed Care, particularly in navigating complex data and ensuring compliance with rebate agreements.
As a Rebate Analyst, you will collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and government entities to drive effective rebate management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire rebate lifecycle, from validating and processing claims to maintaining contract terms and ensuring compliance.
- Validate and analyze utilization data from Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) and Managed Care organizations to ensure accuracy and adherence to rebate agreements.
- Maintain and update Managed Care contracts, ensuring all terms are accurately reflected in the system and that rebate calculations align with contractual obligations.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to analyze rebate data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure all rebate-related financial reporting is precise and timely.
- Collaborate with government pricing teams to ensure rebate calculations and payments comply with regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed on changes in government pricing policies and implement necessary adjustments.
- Serve as a liaison between internal departments (finance, sales, legal) and external partners, including PBMs and Managed Care organizations, to resolve complex rebate issues.
- Continuously assess and improve rebate processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Extensive experience with Model N/Flex is required.
- Significant experience working within Managed Care, particularly in rebate processing and contract management.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, with expertise in pivot tables and VLOOKUPs for data analysis.
- Exceptional analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and ensure accurate rebate processing.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to both internal teams and external partners.
- Experience with government pricing and compliance is highly valued.
