Overview
CADD Designer
Huitt-Zollars' Austin, Texas Office has a full-time opportunity for a CADD Designer. The individual must be capable of and responsible for delivering a quality product in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Produce CADD drawings and design layouts
- Preparation of plan and profiles of roadways and associated infrastructure (drainage, utilities, traffic control)
- Compile drawings into plan set, organize and manage the Sheet Index throughout all phases of the project
- Develop quantities and document calculations
- Review design layouts to find and resolve problems involving compatibility with basic design concepts
- Participate in design reviews to evaluate design concepts
- Work with project team to execute projects on time and on budget
Requirements:
- Proficient with MicroStation, Geopak, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good Communication Skills
- Works well in a Team Environment
- Thorough attention to detail
