Responsibilities
The Provider Data Business Intelligence Associate Director is responsible for data oversight, data usage, system analysis and data retention to assure data quality standards. This position collaborates with other departments to ensure data consistency and quality throughout the organization. This position contributes to development of data governance and data standards policies, with a focus on provider data by guiding and consulting with the enterprise data stewardship community (including, but limited to Data Stewards, IT Custodians, and other key stakeholders) , finding and facilitating data source selection and quality with the help of various stakeholders around Humana including business partners and IT, educating the enterprise on best practices and policies, as well as training and administration within the enterprise data catalog, data quality tools, and other designated governance tools. The position maintains documentation on data governance, compiles reports on metrics and conducts benchmarking to identify trends and patterns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence
- 4 years of management experience leading professional to senior level associates
- Experience in process improvement and metrics development
- Meet Humana's Work at Home Connectivity policy (listed in additional information)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulations governing health care industries
- Graduate degree in a management field
- Experience in Humana's internal policies, procedures, and systems
- Experience in Compliance for a Health Plan
Additional Information
Location: remote, however, if near a Humana office may be required to come in for meetings etc.
- minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
- Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
- Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
