The Credit and Collections Representative 2 represents the company by addressing incoming telephone, and or digital inquiries regarding finance. The Credit and Collections Representative 2 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/ tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Credit and Collections Representative 2 to represent the company by addressing the following items below, but not limited to:

  • Incoming telephone, digital inquires
  • Addressing customer needs which may include complex financial questions, resolving issues, and educating members.
  • Recording details of inquiries, comments or complaints, transactions or interactions and takes action in accordance to it.
  • Advancing unresolved and pending customer grievances.
  • Decisions include defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.
  • Inbound and Outbound call center member calls related to billing inquires, credit card declines, payment plans, check by phone payments, and outstanding balances on accounts
  • Perform duties associated with accounts payable processing and reporting

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Phenomenal customer service orientation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate computer programs and tools.
  • Capacity to handle multiple or challenging priorities, including use of multiple computer applications at a time.
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous inbound call center
  • Healthcare experience

Additional Information:

In order to support the CDC recommendations on social distancing and reduce health risks for associates, members and public health, Humana is deploying virtual and video technologies for all hiring activities. This position may be subject to temporary work at home requirements for an indefinite period of time. A computer will be provided for work purposes; however a minimum internet connection speed of 25mbps x10mpbs and a dedicated secure home workspace are required. Humana continues to monitor the situation, and will adjust service levels as the coronavirus situation evolves. The following changes are temporary and will be evaluated frequently with the goal of returning to normal operations as soon as possible.
