The Hive, Humana’s in-house agency is seeking a, Designer to join their team! We are a creative collective built exclusively to support the business and the brand. Our sole purpose is to create meaning, influence choice, and motivate change through brand expression.As the Creative Development Professional, Designer 2, you will design brand identity systems and creative content for integrated marketing campaigns across all media. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and propose creative solutions, explore new brand expressions, and leverage technology to expand established design systems and optimize content.
Key Role Functions
Produce visual expression for brand identity systems and integrated marketing campaigns, across all media
Develop a range of stylistic and technical solutions against a creative brief
Propose and present creative concepts and design solutions to team leaders and internal partners
Incorporate stakeholder feedback to refine, optimize and finalize designs
Execute creative concepts, prototypes and final art files for print and digital applications with minimal supervision
Prepare final press-ready files
Attentive to industry trends, provides recommendations for tools, process, and best practices
To be successful in this role, you are a curious, conceptual thinker with a critical eye and attentive to details. Your portfolio demonstrates your ability to translate business and brand objectives into compelling, effective solutions, and the application of your design and production mastery to a wide variety of print, digital, and environmental assignments.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a creative field or equivalent related experience
An industry competitive portfolio (Portfolio samples must be submitted with application to be considered. Include a maximum of 5 work samples which best demonstrate your skills)
Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional designer in an agency or in-house environment
Mastery of design fundamentals, advanced aesthetic and conceptual skills
Proven ability to contribute to all stages of the creative development process from concept, design and final production
Strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to apply constructive creative feedback
Acute attention to details, process, budgets, and on-time delivery of projects
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe CS and Microsoft Office software
Preferred Qualifications
Diverse portfolio which demonstrates skills developing brand identity systems and creative content for diverse media including, print, web, social and environmental applications
Strong motion graphics portfolio
Experience with digital prototyping in Figma
Proficiency with pre-press fundamentals
After Effects and Video editing experience a plus
Proficiency with Agile methodologies

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Agency located in Louisville, KY but qualified applicants will be considered for remote work
Occasional travel may be required to collaborate with agency team

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
