The Director, Market Integration defines business innovation objectives while understanding existing market needs and business gaps. Gathers ideas to grow the business using various resources such as market information, consumer insight, personal networks and people that might not otherwise interact. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance. Provides input into functions strategy.
We believe the integration of CenterWell Primary Care, Home Health, Pharmacy, and the Humana Health Plan in a local market will lead to improved health outcomes, increased customer satisfaction, and a decrease in the total cost of care while also building additional profit pools for the enterprise. Through our internal analyses, we have demonstrated that we can create more value through integration of our care and health plan assets than focusing on the plan alone. As we expand the scope of our growth work into 25 Metropolitan Service Areas (MSAs) in 2023-2024, we are bringing dedicated regional leadership to support these efforts.
The Director of Market Integration will:
Establish and lead forums for activating integration in the local market among market leaders across CenterWell and Humana, such as Integrated Care Coalitions (ICCs)
Achieve integration targets across 2-3 MSAs aligned with Medicare Region President
Direct implementation of critical "must haves" (cross-asset education, promotion, etc.)
Partner with finance, analytics, and provider experience to overcome obstacles to achieving alignment, integration, and utilization of assets
Support management of national tactic pipeline, including oversight and review process within Medicare
Manage local pipeline of future integration opportunities, in partnership with the Integrated Health Growth and Patient Experience teams
Partner with market leadership and integration team to resource highest priority initiatives
Collaborate with community-based leaders across business units to maximize community impact
Oversee local implementation of pilots defined by the integration team
Focus integration efforts within their primary geography, and serve as a resource to support the expansion of integration work into other markets in the future
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
8 or more years of experience in business development, market operations, provider contracting or engagement, or integrated health operations
5 or more years of management experience
Candidates for this position should be located in or near a major city in Florida, including the Tampa, Orlando, and Miami/South Florida areas
