The Clinical Manager, Home Health Nursing will be responsible for maintaining the quality of patient care in accordance with the agencies objectives and policies, through planning, coordination, implementation and evaluating the home health services provided.
The Clinical Manager, Home Health Nursing provides supervision of nurses and home health aides to ensure the quality of services and maintenance of standards. Reviews and investigates the clinical content, diagnosis, medical history, medications, and other procedures of the record of patients under their supervision. Provides the teaching and counseling necessary to enhance the delivery of services and professional development of nursing professional and health aide staff. Participates in audits, interdisciplinary team conferences and represents agency in the community as requested and reviews nurse’s schedule for recertifications, discharges and home health aide supervisory visits.
