Deliver a simplified Dental Provider Experience by driving digital and technology solutions forward in a cross collaborative and influential manner Identify the solutions and structure needed to provide exceptional service to every provider, in every interaction Build Cost Benefit Analysis to demonstrate enterprise value to implementing new digital, AI and technology solutioning forward. Reporting to the VP of Network and Market Development, deliver a simplified Dental Provider Experience by driving digital and technology solutions forward in a cross collaborative and influential manner.Responsibilities
Remove obstacles for Dental Providers by partnering with Dental Network Service, IT, GBO and our key Retail Medical partners to ensure that our solutions are forward thinking and ahead of industry standard.
Ability to prioritize initiatives, build a solid business case to capture enterprise value, and influence teams thru implementation such addition of AI, automations, IVR’s, elimination of fax while improving efficiencies, network unit cost and reducing long term administrative costs. Will also work to influence and drive work within key business partners, including: Provider Marketing, SIU, Network Administration, G&A, PPI, Provider Customer Care, Member Services, Provider payment processes, legal, and any other area that impacts the experience of the Dental Provider.
Increase provider satisfaction, resulting in best in class network retention by driving change throughout all departments who influence dental provider ease of service. Influence anywhere a provider interacts with Humana - Collaborate with Dental Network Services, Provider Marketing, and all business partners, to improve processes that increase provider satisfaction Implement ideas/processes resulting from meetings with the Provider Advisory Committee and all improvements that result from those conversations Develop and implement new/updated processes and large-scale processes to improve provider and associate experiences.
Drive increased provider engagement and quickly identify and resolve for systemic issues related to provider escalations Leverage best industry practices and/or practices within Retail Medical and pivot teams to implement within our Dental network teams (ie: Automations, IVR’s, AI, technology etc) to increase provider engagement and retention Work with appropriate departments such as IT to understand and reduce the number of platforms our dental network uses today.
Optimize the Dental Network, through enhanced collaboration Understand the dental competitive environment and industry trends that impact our ability to compete Promote Humana values.
Drive Process Improvement Identify opportunities for Process Improvement in the end to end journey of a dental provider, including all their touchpoints with Humana Quarterly Partnership Summits, to review and discuss improvements being made, technology performance, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in Leading via Influencing / Thru a matrix'd organization
- 5 years Provider Contracting and Network development
- 5 years of management experience
- Prior experience utilizing knowledge of dental network industry and provider experience
- Prior experience utilizing knowledge of provider systems, and improvement processes
- Prior experience utilizing comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- Meet Humana's Work at Home policy listed in additional information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work experience in the health solutions industry with demonstrated success directing and leading teams
- Proficiency in quality improvement processes, analyzing and interpreting financial trends

- Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
- Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
