We are partnering with a local furniture manufacturer in the Bayport area to help them in their search for a CNC Programmer. This position has tons of room for growth within the company and is perfect for someone that is eager to advance their career!

Responsibilities:
- Develop and write CNC programs for various machines including lathes and milling machines
- Utilize CAD and CAM programming software to create and modify programs
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to determine program requirements
- Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to program specifications
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize manufacturing processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
- Proficient in programming languages for CNC machines, such as G-code
- Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar programs
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
