Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for partnering with learning leaders to identify and deliver analytics and data products that track learning activity, and drive effective decision-making for learning at Charter. This position requires data analysis or Learning project management experience.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Oversee day-to-day operations of a data analytics team responsible for the analysis of large and complex data sets related to learning and business activities

Deliver data findings in a variety of visual formats that appropriately provide insight to users, including online data visualizations, slide decks, and reports

Partner with learning leaders and stakeholders to identify usable metrics to evaluate individual learning efforts

Partner with learning leaders to establish and track key performance indicators for learning at the team and company level

Partner with business stakeholders and data teams to gain access to relevant data

Develop and/or modify team processes to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely execution of the team’s work

Perform project management duties as needed to support data collection projects and the implementation of new reporting resources

Perform exploratory data analysis for new data sources or new uses of existing data sources

Conduct research in the learning and data fields to identify opportunities to identify relevant trends and make recommendations to elevate team performance

Work closely with learning teams to ensure analytics products meet their needs

Conduct root cause analysis of operational trends and identify variations in key performance indicators

Perform other duties as requested

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Demonstrated attention to detail, with an orientation toward quality assurance
Systemic thinking about data relationships
Demonstrated numerical and statistical capabilities
Ability to apply data findings to the business
Demonstrated problem-solving orientation
Ability to grow knowledge of both the business and the learning field
Demonstrated analytical, presentation and visual communication skills
Ability to prioritize work streams to achieve the maximum business value
Great cross-group collaboration and strong team player
Must be self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work with minimum supervision
Understand the design and implementation of data systems

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Learning & Development or related field

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
5 years of Data analysis and application
3 years of Data or Learning project management
3 years Business Intelligence or Learning leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Analytics Tools
Knowledge of Corporate Learning & Development

Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Relevant corporate experience in a Fortune 500 company
Experience using tools such as Tableau, MySQL, R and/or Python
2 years of Management experience
